กองทัพบกปฏิเสธข้อกล่าวหากัมพูชา ยืนยันยึดกฎหมายสากล ไม่กระทำอาชญากรรมสงครามหรือสิ่งแวดล้อม พร้อมเดินหน้าการเจรจาทวิภาคี

จากถ้อยแถลงของฝ่ายกัมพูชาที่เผยแพร่ผ่านสำนักข่าว Fresh News เมื่อวันที่ 23 ธันวาคม 2568 ซึ่งมีการกล่าวหาฝ่ายไทยเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ตามชายแดน รวมถึงการอ้างว่าไทยกระทำอาชญากรรมสิ่งแวดล้อมนั้น พลตรี วินธัย สุวารี โฆษกกองทัพบก ระบุว่า ถ้อยแถลงดังกล่าวเป็นการกล่าวอ้างที่บิดเบือนข้อเท็จจริงอย่างร้ายแรง และสะท้อนความพยายามโยนความรับผิดชอบต่อสถานการณ์ความตึงเครียดที่ฝ่ายกัมพูชาเป็นผู้ก่อขึ้นมาให้ฝ่ายไทยอย่างไม่เป็นธรรม

โฆษกกองทัพบกยืนยันว่า การปฏิบัติการของกองทัพไทยเป็นไปเพื่อปกป้องอธิปไตยของชาติ ภายใต้หลักความจำเป็น ความได้สัดส่วน และการเคารพกฎหมายมนุษยธรรมระหว่างประเทศอย่างเคร่งครัด ไม่เคยมีนโยบายหรือการกระทำใดที่มุ่งโจมตีพลเรือน บ่อนทำลายสันติภาพในภูมิภาค หรือก่อให้เกิดความเสียหายต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมและทรัพยากรธรรมชาติตามที่ถูกกล่าวหา ในทางตรงกันข้าม เป็นฝ่ายกัมพูชาที่มีพฤติกรรมยั่วยุ ใช้กำลังทางทหาร และเผยแพร่ข้อมูลบิดเบือนมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง รวมถึงการอ้างแผนที่ฝ่ายเดียวซึ่งไม่ได้รับการยอมรับในระดับสากล ขณะที่ข้อกล่าวหาว่าฝ่ายไทยกระทำอาชญากรรมสงคราม อาชญากรรมสิ่งแวดล้อม หรือฝ่าฝืนข้อตกลงสันติภาพนั้น เป็นถ้อยคำที่ปราศจากหลักฐาน ไม่ก่อให้เกิดประโยชน์ต่อการแก้ไขสถานการณ์แต่อย่างใด สะท้อนถึงการใช้วาทกรรมทางการเมือง มากกว่าการยืนอยู่บนพื้นฐานของข้อเท็จจริงและกฎหมายระหว่างประเทศ ประเทศไทยยืนยันความมุ่งมั่นในการเคารพกฎหมายระหว่างประเทศ สิทธิมนุษยชน และการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากรธรรมชาติ พร้อมเรียกร้องให้ฝ่ายกัมพูชายุติการเผยแพร่ข้อมูลอันเป็นเท็จ เลิกใช้ถ้อยแถลงที่ยั่วยุ และหันกลับมาใช้กลไกการเจรจาทวิภาคีบนพื้นฐานของข้อเท็จจริง

Royal Thai Army Rejects Cambodian Allegations, Affirms Adherence to International Law and Denies War or Environmental Crimes, Calls for Bilateral Negotiations

Following the statement released by the Cambodian side through Fresh News on December 23, 2025, which accused Thailand regarding the border situation and alleged that Thailand committed environmental crimes:

Major General Winthai Suvaree, Army spokesperson, stated that the statement was a serious distortion of facts and reflected an attempt to unfairly shift responsibility for the tensions—initiated by Cambodia—onto Thailand.

The Army spokesperson affirmed that Thai military operations are conducted solely to protect national sovereignty, under the principles of necessity, proportionality, and strict adherence to international humanitarian law. There has never been any policy or action aimed at attacking civilians, undermining regional peace, or causing damage to the environment and natural resources as alleged.

On the contrary, it is Cambodia that has engaged in provocative behavior, used military force, and continuously spread distorted information, including unilateral map claims that lack international recognition. Allegations that Thailand committed war crimes, environmental crimes, or violated peace agreements are baseless, unhelpful to resolving the situation, and reflect political rhetoric rather than reliance on facts and international law.

Thailand reaffirms its commitment to respecting international law, human rights, and the preservation of natural resources, while calling on Cambodia to cease spreading false information, stop using provocative statements, and return to bilateral negotiation mechanisms based on facts.
