กองทัพบก ร่วมกับสถาบันนิติวิทยาศาสตร์ กระทรวงยุติธรรม เข้าตรวจสอบที่เกิดเหตุ โรงพยาบาลพนมดงรัก จ.สุรินทร์ เก็บหลักฐานผลกระทบจากกระสุนปืนใหญ่ฝ่ายกัมพูชา

เมื่อวันที่ 31 สิงหาคม 2568 กองทัพบก ร่วมกับสถาบันนิติวิทยาศาสตร์ กระทรวงยุติธรรม ลงพื้นที่ตรวจสอบและเก็บหลักฐานจากเหตุการณ์การสู้รบที่เกิดขึ้นบริเวณชายแดนไทย–กัมพูชา
ณ โรงพยาบาลพนมดงรักเฉลิมพระเกียรติ 80 พรรษา อำเภอพนมดงรัก จังหวัดสุรินทร์ ซึ่งถูกกระสุนปืนใหญ่ของฝ่ายกัมพูชายิงเข้ามาในพื้นที่โรงพยาบาล เมื่อช่วงเช้าของวันที่ 24 กรกฎาคม 2568 จำนวน 3 นัด ส่งผลให้อาคารหลายหลังได้รับความเสียหาย โดยเฉพาะอาคารภูมิพัฒน์ และอาคารศูนย์สุขภาพชุมชนพระครูอาภัสธรรม (หลวงตารอด) ซึ่งเป็นอาคารห้องตรวจครรภ์มารดาก่อนคลอด อันเป็นพื้นที่ให้บริการสำคัญแก่ประชาชนในชุมชน จนต้องอพยพผู้ป่วยไปยังพื้นที่ปลอดภัยเป็นการฉุกเฉิน

เจ้าหน้าที่ในเหตุการณ์เล่าว่า “ตนเองปฏิบัติงานอยู่ที่ห้องตรวจครรภ์มารดาก่อนคลอด ซึ่งปกติจะมีผู้มาใช้บริการหลากหลายกลุ่ม ทั้งมารดาที่ฝากครรภ์วันละ 5–10 ราย (ในวันเกิดเหตุมีเพียง 1 ราย) เด็กที่มาฉีดวัคซีน รวมถึงผู้สูงอายุที่มาตรวจสุขภาพ

ในช่วงเกิดเหตุ ได้ยินเสียงระเบิดจากอาคารภูมิพัฒน์ที่อยู่ใกล้เคียง จากนั้นสะเก็ดระเบิดได้พุ่งเข้ามายังห้องตรวจครรภ์ รวมถึงบริเวณที่นั่งของแพทย์ แต่โชคดีที่ไม่มีผู้ได้รับบาดเจ็บในขณะนั้น จึงรีบอพยพหญิงตั้งครรภ์รายดังกล่าวออกมาได้อย่างปลอดภัย ขณะเดียวกันผู้ป่วยและญาติที่ยังอยู่ภายในอาคารต่างรีบอพยพไปยังหลุมหลบภัยชั่วคราว บางรายเกิดความตื่นตระหนกและวิตกกังวลอย่างหนัก ถึงขั้นเอ่ยสั่งเสียต่อหน้าญาติ เมื่อสถานการณ์สงบลง เจ้าหน้าที่จึงรีบให้การช่วยเหลือผู้ที่ได้รับบาดเจ็บทันที”

เหตุการณ์ครั้งนี้ไม่เพียงสะท้อนถึงความรุนแรงของสถานการณ์ชายแดน แต่ยังแสดงให้เห็นถึงความเสี่ยงของประชาชน โดยเฉพาะในโรงพยาบาลซึ่งควรเป็นสถานที่ปลอดภัยที่สุด กลับต้องเผชิญกับภัยคุกคามและความหวาดกลัวในชีวิตประจำวัน อีกทั้งยังส่งผลกระทบต่อการให้บริการด้านสาธารณสุขที่จำเป็นต้องได้รับการคุ้มครองจากภัยสงครามและความขัดแย้ง

ขณะนี้ เจ้าหน้าที่สถาบันนิติวิทยาศาสตร์ได้เก็บรวบรวมหลักฐานในที่เกิดเหตุทั้งหมด โดยเฉพาะสะเก็ดระเบิด เพื่อนำไปตรวจสอบยังห้องปฏิบัติการของสถาบันนิติวิทยาศาสตร์ เพื่อพิสูจน์ที่มาและรายละเอียดของการยิงดังกล่าวต่อไป

The Royal Thai Army Collaborates with the Central Institute of Forensic Science Thailand, Ministry of Justice, to Investigate Incident Site at Phanom Dong Rak Hospital, Surin Province, Collecting Evidence of Impact from Cambodian Artillery Fire

On 31 August 2025, the Royal Thai Army, in collaboration with the Central Institute of Forensic Science Thailand, Ministry of Justice, conducted a field investigation and evidence collection from the combat incident that occurred along Thailand - Cambodia border at Phanom Dong Rak Hospital, Phanom Dong Rak District, Surin Province, which was struck by Cambodian artillery fire into the hospital premises during the morning of 24 July 2025, totaling 3 rounds. This resulted in damage to multiple buildings, particularly Bhumipatana Building and Phra Khru Aphat Tham Community Health Center Building (Luang Ta Rod), which houses the antenatal care examination room, a critical service area for the local community, necessitating emergency evacuation of patients to safe areas.

A staff member present during the incident recounted, "I was working in the antenatal care examination room, which normally serves various groups, including expectant mothers for prenatal care at 5–10 cases daily (only 1 case on the day of the incident), children receiving vaccinations, and elderly individuals for health checkups.

During the incident, I heard explosions from the nearby Bhumipatana Building, followed by shrapnel penetrating the examination room, including the physician's seating area. Fortunately, no injuries occurred at that moment, enabling safe evacuation of the pregnant woman. Simultaneously, patients and relatives remaining inside the building rushed to temporary shelters. Some experienced severe panic and anxiety, trembling uncontrollably before their relatives. Once the situation stabilized, staff immediately provided assistance to the injured."

This incident not only reflects the severity of the border situation but also demonstrates the risks to civilians, particularly in hospitals, which should constitute the safest locations but face threats and daily fear. Furthermore, it impacts essential healthcare services that require protection from war hazards and conflict.

Currently, officials from the Central Institute of Forensic Science Thailand have collected all evidence from the incident site, particularly shrapnel fragments, for laboratory examination at the forensic science institute to verify the origin and details of the aforementioned artillery fire.
